Okay, after considerable work, Todd has helped me connect to the page and I've forgotten what I wanted to say...oh yes..theWest Virginia trip was great fun and for those of you who couldn't join us, put it on your calendars for next year.. (now I've forgotten the date! I'm pretty sure it's the last week in July which clears those who have conflicts on July 4th and Water Festival)...It's really a great experience, seeing Pierre McGowan working away on the roof, Bob Gamble and Roland McIntosh renovating bedroom ceilings, little ole Ashley and Vicky Mix demonstrating their interior-decorating skills, Austin Mix and Nathan McConnell perched on a roof-top like a pair of mountain angels, white-water rafting with a guide named Isaac who had a running conversation with Pierre and Bob G about cooking wild turkeys...the list of memories goes on and on...all these good memories on top of feeling a sense of thankfulness that we were able to help the family the Lord lead us to! We'll be posting more pictures (once we figure THAT out) but it's all just another way First Pres of Beaufort is being - as Dr. Lou likes to say - the best church in the world!
