Nursery Ministry

Nursery Staff Members at First Presbyterian Church are both CareGivers and a part of the ministry team.  Part of the mission of the nursery is to provide a safe, loving and nurturing environment for our children.  More than that, we also have a sacred opportunity to share God's love with them, planting seed for a lifetime.

The difference between "caring" and "daycare" is vital to providing the kind of nursery that loves and nurtures children.  There is no escape from changing diapers, wiping noses, and supervising safe play.  Beyond meeting these physical needs, we also attempt to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of our children.  When they know we are interested and concerned, no matter what they are doing, they feel loved.

We show children love through the care we provide.



Nursery Operation Hours
*  The Nursery is available during all Worship Services, Church School, and Wednesday Night Dinners and Programs throughout the year in Room 106 of the Education Building.
*  If a church group would like to request the availability of the Nursery, please contact Ora Smith, Nursery Director, at least two weeks prior to your event.
