Donations Needed!

Beaufort Elementary and Riverview Charter students need your help!

Thank you for the donations for our Beaufort Elementary and Rivierview Charter School Students! We continue to accept donations. Items needed are: Block erasers, book bags, markers (thin and thick), colored pencils, crayons, Elmer’s glue, Expo whiteboard markers, Fisk scissors, glue sticks, marble notebooks, notebook paper, sharpies, spiral notebooks, Ticonderoga pencils, tissues, underwear for boys or girls - sizes  2-4,  4-6,  8-10, white socks sized to fit 4-11 years.

Please bring items to the church office or place in the red wagon in the narthex.  Schools are always in need of supplies! Thank you!

Flowers at Sunday Worship

THE FOLLOWING DATES ARE STILL AVAILABLE TO FURNISH FLOWERS FOR THE SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE: October 5, October 19, and November 23. If you would like to provide an arrangement, please sign your name next to the appropriate date on the flower chart located in the narthex.

All About The Lending Room

The Lending Room is a 501c3 non-profit organization that accepts and distributes gently used medical rehabilitation equipment to individuals, short or long term, regardless of income or insurance.  Such equipment includes wheelchairs, transport chairs, rolling and front-wheeled walkers, shower chairs, bedside commodes, raised toilet seats, canes, crutches, and more.

There are no residential or government requirements to borrow an item from The Lending Room.  Anyone with a temporary need may borrow equipment, e.g.:

  • You are recovering from an injury or surgery.

  • You want to try the equipment before buying it.

  • You are waiting for insurance coverage approval.

  • You are helping a friend or relative accept the idea of using equipment.

  • You are ill and uncertain about the period of need.
  • You are a visitor to the area who may not be able to transport your own equipment. 

To borrow medical equipment from The Lending Room:

  • Determine what you need, including size, special features, etc.

  • Talk to your doctor or therapist if you have questions on specific needs.

  • Call 843-524-2554 to inquire about equipment availability and to arrange a time to pick up the item(s).

You must sign a release form and donate a minimum of $1.00 to borrow equipment.  Equipment loans are not meant to be permanent arrangements.

We also gratefully accept:

  • Donations of gently used medical rehab equipment
  • Financial donations

Little Neighbors Mission Program - Volunteers Needed!

The School Year Has Begun!

Our "Little Neighbors" mission program is in need of volunteers at Beaufort Elementary! We have ages Pre-k to 5th grade and will find a class and time to fit in to anyone's schedule! Remember, if you can listen to a child read, you can volunteer! We will begin in September.
